Rendezvous in Eden is a non-profit organization based in Washington State, dedicated to trauma recovery using exotic animals and nature. Our mission is to provide a safe and healing environment for individuals seeking recovery and growth. We believe in the transformative power of God's creation and the unique therapeutic benefits of interacting with exotic animals. Our approach provides an opportunity for each client to explore aspects of healing, hope, and growth. Our intensive sessions offer small group engagements, facilitated teaching moments, and interactions with the animals.

Our Vision
Our vision at Rendezvous in Eden is to be a leading force in trauma recovery, harnessing the healing power of God's creation and exotic animals. Our first line of effort is first responders, partnering with them in stewarding the trauma acquired from the intense hours spent on the job. Our second line of effort is to military personnel, offering resiliency training to support them in their challenging lifestyle and profession. Our third line of effort is to chaplains and pastors, assisting them in rediscovering biblical truths and principles that can revitalize their ongoing ministry efforts. This is all made possible with the aid of financial partners, volunteers, and mission supporters.
Our Process
Each group of clients will participate in a half-day to three-day intensive session. Each intensive includes themed modules focused on topics specific to the nature of that professional client group. The modules use a variety of methods from facilitated small group interactions to short teaching segments to interactions with the exotic animals. The staff facilitate each client's experience, exploring topics and issues that can assist in their healing and growth. The goal is to support each client uncovering hope in their own journey, taking that new-found strength with them as they move forward personally and professionally.
